About the Concertina
Invented by Charles Wheatstone. Hexagonal bellows instrument with buttons on both ends. The Anglo concertina plays different notes on push and pull. Used in English folk music and sea shanties. Over 30 buttons on a standard model. The sound is lighter and more delicate than the accordion.
