About the Sarangi
A bowed string instrument from India. Over 40 strings, only 3 are played. The rest are sympathetic. Over 900 years of Indian tradition. The name means hundred colors. Considered the instrument closest to the human voice. The fingernails press the strings, not the fingertips.
